According to research company forecasts, the iPhone 15 Pro — the rumored successor to the iPhone 14 Pro — will include 8GB of RAM and a USB Type-C connection. The business recently announced the iPhone 14 Pro series, which included the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, the only two devices this year that contain Apple's top A16 Bionic processor. The iPhone 15 Pro variants, which are slated to be released next year, are also expected to have camera upgrades.
According to TrendForce, Apple's next iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models will be equipped with the company's next-generation A17 Bionic processor. According to the company, non-Pro versions may be outfitted with this year's A16 Bionic chip.
According to TrendForce, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max successors will have 8GB of RAM, as opposed to the current generation Pro range, which is rumored to have 6GB of RAM. It should be noted that Apple does not reveal the RAM arrangement of its iPhone models.
On Tuesday, Apple's marketing head Greg Joswiak stated that the iPhone will need to use a USB Type-C charger in order to comply with a European Union requirement.
According to the research firm, Apple will replace the Lightning port with a USB Type-C charging port. This is believed to be the conclusion of a multi-year battle between Apple and the EU for a standard charging connector.
Meanwhile, the Taiwanese research organization reports that the primary camera on next year's iPhone 15 models will have an 8P lens, although the resolution of the sensor is presently unclear. The telephoto camera on the iPhone 15 Pro Max is said to include periscope capabilities and 10x optical zoom.
According to TrendForce, the iPhone 15 Pro series will use a Qualcomm 5G modem, while Apple continues to build its own modem, which it claims will be available by 2024. Previously, a report suggested that the next two years' worth of iPhone models might be released without Apple's 5G modem.
